Delivery Policy

Every country has a specific list of articles which are prohibited or restricted. For details on each country, refer to the Australia Post International Post Guide.

REFUND/RETURN POLICY

We understand that you may not always be completely satisfied with your purchase, and in some instances may need to return a product to us. With this in mind we have done our best to make returning a product as easy and convenient as possible. Set forth below are our policies with respect to returns as well as instructions on how to return a product to us.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

If YOU cancel an order, that you have already paid for then we will provide you with a refund minus a %10 of purchase price OR $5.00 (whichever is greater) cancellation fee to cover the processing costs we have incurred in the placement and cancellation of your order.

If WE cancel an order of yours, that you have already paid for then we will automatically provide a refund by bank transfer or, if paid by credit card, we will refund to the same credit card - no cancellation fee applies in this situation.

BACKORDERS/PREORDERS

A product that you may wish to order may be temporarily out of stock (Out Of Stock / Avail on Request) or may not yet have been released (Pre-Order). You can still order these items and they will be shipped as soon as the product is delivered to MovieConnect. Our policy for all products is that your credit card will be charged when your order is processed. In the case of large purchases, international purchases, or purchases of games and/or gaming accessories, we reserve the right to debit your card up front to prove your intent to pay. In the event you or we cancel the order in full or part after that time the payment will be credited back to your card within 7 days.

All orders placed after 11:00am will be processed the next business day.

STOCK

MovieConnect’s stock is purchased direct from official Australian distributors. MovieConnect’s stock is all genuine. We do not and never will sell pirated DVDs under any circumstances. Only new and pre owned products are sold and distributed. MovieConnect strive to make sure you receive your product in the best condition possible. To do this we have our own security stickers to place on the outer case to prevent any tampering with the discs. All these procedures are done to ensure your item is delivered in the safest way possible.

Pre Owned DVD's are aslo Australian DVD's that have been professionally buffed and polished to delivery a like new product to our customers.

PRODUCTS

Although we make every effort to insure that products are in stock when so indicated and that information and prices concerning products and services listed on the Site are accurate, THE PRICES AND AVAILABILITY OF SUCH PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. If a product or service has been listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order for that product or service even if your order has been confirmed. Your receipt of a confirmation of an order from us does not signify our acceptance of that order, and we may cancel such order or supply less than the quantity you ordered. Certain products or services listed for sale may not be available to users located in certain areas, and MovieConnect may reject your order for this or any other reason.

Our product prices are always subject to change without notice. If a product has been listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order for that product or service even if your order has been confirmed, or we may advise you of such via our regular weekly email updates with the option of cancelling the order or paying the corrected amount.

If you have any questions or require more detailed specifications concerning a product or its use, you should contact the product's manufacturer.

CONSUMER DATA/PRIVACY POLICY

The MovieConnect site uses a variety of security measures to maintain the safety and security of your personal information. All user contact information is contained behind secured networks and is accessible only by the proprietor of MovieConnect and a limited number of employees who have agreed to comply with all of our privacy and security policies. All credit card information supplied by users is transmitted Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted in EWay’s databases as stated above.

In the case of goods, any one or more of the following:

• replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods;

• payment of the costs of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods; or
  
• payment of the cost of having the goods repaired; and

In the case of services:

• the supplying of the services again; or
  
• the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.

In any event, MovieConnect aggregate liability under or relating to this agreement, whether in contract, tort, equity or pursuant to statute is limited to an amount equal to (including refunds and the value of replacement goods or services given to you) the amount paid by you to MovieConnect for the applicable goods or services the subject of this claim.

MovieConnect shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you as a consequence of:

• the frustration of this agreement by matters beyond the control of MovieConnect;
• any delay by MovieConnect in completing the works;
• the exercise by MovieConnect of any of its rights pursuant to these terms and conditions.

You shall not be entitled to recover any compensation or damages for loss or damage suffered, save as provided pursuant to the terms of this clause, even if such loss or damage was foreseen, foreseeable or advised to MovieConnect by you.
